Long ago in the sleepy village of Manhattan, a young man with a guitar jumped on stage at a club called Dangerfield’s. It was his very first comedy audition. The next night he opened for Jackie Mason. With the guidance and nod of approval of Jackie and Rodney, Gary soon rose to the top of the New York City comedy club scene. Catch a Rising Star, the Comic Strip, the Comedy Cellar and Caroline’s. Soon it was off to Hollywood. The Comedy Store, the Laugh Factory, the Improv. Performances all across the USA followed as he brought his brand of Rock and Roll Comedy to Pittsburgh, Chicago, Boston, Miami, St. Louis, Atlantic City and Las Vegas. Sharing the stage with the best of the best - Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Ray Romano, Chris Rock, Sam Kinnison, Bill Hicks, Wanda Sykes and Louis CK.

A radio favorite with his song parodies and impressions, Gary ruled the morning airwaves in New York City with WNEW-FM, spending studio time with Dennis Elsas, Pete Fornatele, Mark McEwen and the legendary Scott Muny, who turned out to be his neighbor, enjoying Sunday morning pastries at Muller’s Bakery in Bay Head, New Jersey.

His TV appearances range from his debut on Regis and Kathy Lee to HBO, Showtime, Comedy Central, Evening at the Improv, Star Search and a guest singing spot on Late Night with David Letterman.

His shows have been well received and well reviewed...
